The International English Language Testing System (IELTS) is the world’s leading English Language proficiency test designed to assess all of the English skills for those who want to study or work in a place where English is the primary language. The exam is developed by the Cambridge University and jointly managed by IDP and the British Council.
Before giving the exam, it is necessary to acquaint yourself with the test format of IELTS. There are two versions of the test. They are IELTS Academics and IELTS General Training.
The IELTS Academic module is for candidates who want to study at undergraduate or postgraduate levels, and for those who wish to join a professional organization in an English-speaking country.
The IELTS General Training module is for candidates who want to emigrate to an English speaking country (Australia, Canada, New Zealand, UK), and for those that want to train or study at a below degree level.
